Our Product Overview

Our main product is a lightweight hydroponic “smart” living wall system which may have an “open” or a “closed” irrigation & nutrition system. However, we provide our clients with another option, i.e. “full smart” living wall system, as well. Both our living wall systems have a multi-layered structure in which plant species can grow throughout a hydroponic skin, in a water based, nutrient rich solution by the support of a growth medium.

Our “smart” living wall system has a smart controller which receives the user’s orders from Higreenwall App, installed on his/her mobile phone, to set the amounts of irrigation, nutrition, and lighting; while the smart controller of our “full smart” living wall system not only receives the user’s orders from the App, and sends them to the living wall, but also receives data, collected by various sensors, and regularly reports them to the user on the App. Moreover, our “full smart” system self-learns the user’s habit based on the Machine Learning (ML) algorithm, as a branch of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, automatically resets the orders, and sends them to the living wall.

Both our living wall systems can be used indoors and outdoors for various residential and/or commercial properties to create unique decorative spaces.

Our Product Structure

As it is shown on the following figure, our living wall structure comprises of a hydroponic three-layered skin mounted on a base structure. A supportive structure is first connected to the existing wall, and a PVC waterproofing panel is then mounted on it. Then, the hydroponic skin is attached on the PVC panel, and the plant species are cultivated in a growth medium throughout the hydroponic skin.

Before attaching the skin, a pipeline, having some drippers, is horizontally mounted at the top, to supply water for irrigation as well as nutrient solution for nutrition of plant species.

There is also a gutter at the bottom of the structure to fully drain the output water of the living walls having an “open” irrigation & nutrition system, or to keep the output water to be pumped, and accordingly reused by the living walls having a “closed” irrigation & nutrition system.

Our Product Smart System

As described in the following video, both our “smart” and “full smart” living wall systems have a smart controller through which it is possible for the user to send his/her orders, regarding the amounts of irrigation, nutrition, and lighting, from Higreenwall App to the living wall; while the smart controller of our “full smart” living wall system has also an extra feature using which it is possible to receive data, collected by various sensors, from the living wall, and send them as several regular reports to the user on the App through SMS and/or push notifications. Furthermore, in the “full smart” system, the orders, sent by the user on his/her App, as well as the data, collected by the sensors, are both saved on memory of the smart controller, and are analyzed by the smart controller program which reads and learns all the above information using the Machine Learning (ML) algorithm, as a branch of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. In fact, the smart controller of our “full smart” system continuously monitors the latest condition of the living wall based on the data collected by the sensors, self-learns the user’s habit based on his/her previous orders, automatically resets the orders, and sends them to the living wall. Moreover, the App receives the signals of any probable problems related to electricity outage and/or water leakage from the smart controller of our “full smart” system, and alerts them to the user through SMS and/or push notifications.

Our Product Irrigation & Nutrition System

Product

Based on the availability of the main perquisites of irrigation & nutrition system, e.g. water supply, drainage point, etc., there will be two solutions for the irrigation & nutrition system: “open” or “closed”. In the “open” irrigation & nutrition system, the pipeline is directly connected to the main water supply as well as the nutrient solution tank to provide the system input, and the output water and nutrient solution are fully drained at the bottom of the living wall; while in the “closed” irrigation & nutrition system, having no drainage point at the bottom, the pipeline is not directly connected to the main water supply, and the system input is supplied by pumping and reusing the output water and nutrient solution.

Furthermore, the irrigation & nutrition system of our “smart” and “full smart”  living walls comprises of: (1) Electric valve(s), controlling by the smart controller, which transfers water from the main water supply to the living wall ; (2) Nutrient solution tank containing pure water plus M-P-K fertilizer, adding manually; (3) Dosing pump, controlling by the smart controller, which transfers nutrient solution from the tank to the living wall; (4) Smart controller, controlling both the electric valve(s) and dosing pump, through the user’s manual orders on the App for the “smart” system, or through automatic resetting of the orders by the Machine Learning (ML) algorithm for the “full smart” system; (5) Pipeline which starts from a point right after the electric valve(s) and dosing pump, and ends at the top of the living wall; (6) Drippers which are mounted on the pipeline to have a uniform irrigation and nutrition; and (7) Gutter which is used for drainage of output water (in open irrigation & nutrition system), or keeping the output water to be pumped, and reused (in closed irrigation & nutrition system).

Both our living wall systems have many benefits such as purifying air, reducing water consumption, acting as a soundproof barrier, increasing real estate value, and also acting as an interior and/or exterior decoration.
